Warranty Policy

At Family Room, we are committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects under the following terms:

1. Manufacturing Defects

All furniture is covered by a 6 month limited warranty from the original date of purchase against defects in materials and manufacturing.

2. Workmanship

If a product is found to have a manufacturing or workmanship defect during the warranty period, Family Room will, at its discretion, repair the product, replace the defective part, or provide a comparable replacement if the original item or part is no longer available.

3. Hardware

Hardware components, including but not limited to handles, hinges, drawer slides, gas lifts (shock absorbers), and other functional hardware, are covered by this limited warranty for 6 month limited warranty against manufacturing defects.

4. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:


  • Misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper care.
  • Improper assembly or installation not performed by Family Room.
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations.
  • Normal wear and tear, including minor cosmetic changes from everyday use.
  • Scratches, dents, chips, stains, tears, burns, or impact damage occurring after delivery.
  • Corrosion, rust, mold, mildew, or damage caused by excessive moisture or humidity.
  • Fading, discoloration, or deterioration caused by sunlight, UV exposure, improper cleaning, or improper maintenance.
  • Damage caused by pets, insects, or rodents.
  • Damage resulting from accidents or natural events, including but not limited to wind, rain, flooding, hurricanes, earthquakes, storms, fire, or other acts of nature.

5. Inspection Upon Delivery

Please inspect your merchandise immediately upon delivery or pickup.

Any claim for:

Shipping or delivery damage, Missing or incomplete items, Incorrect merchandise, or Visible manufacturing defects, must be reported to Family Room within 24 hours of delivery or pickup. Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for coverage.

6. Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim, customers must provide:

  • The original sales invoice or proof of purchase.
  • Photos or videos clearly showing the issue.
  • A description of the problem.

Additional information or an in-home inspection may be required before a warranty determination is made.

7. Limitation of Warranty

This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. The warranty covers repair or replacement of defective products or components only and does not include reimbursement for incidental, consequential, transportation, installation, removal, or labor costs unless otherwise required by law.
